Contributions and Subsidies
Assessment year 2023 saw the fifth application of the contribution rate of 0.12% of the LOB-coordinated wages pro rata. Contributions worth CHF 213.6 million have been settled to date. Compared to these contributions, subsidy benefits were CHF 198.2 million.
Statistic of the Contributions
The statistics cover all settlements made until the end of March 2025, divided among assessment years 1987 to 2023. The operating statement includes all contributions and subsidies effectively settled in the calendar year. These settlements may involve several settlement periods. Settlements for the year 2024 are not due until mid-2025.
Insolvency Benefit Cases
Settled submissions from pension funds in cases of employer bankruptcy continue to account for the majority of insolvency payments. A total of 4 103 en quiries were settled in 2025, which was much more than in the previous year (2 344). Likewise, the ben efits disbursed were significantly higher than in the previous year at CHF 49.5 million. There was a year on-year increase in submissions received from both collective and communal pension funds and the Sub stitute Occupational Benefit Institution.
