Last year, our activities focused on the 2nd Pillar Central Office with 140,000 answered enquiries relating to the search for occupational pension assets. The Office was able to provide information about a good 200,000 potential assets. The trend towards more enquiries continues unabated. These have more than doubled over the past five years. Together with the Central and Liaison Office, the Guarantee Fund is an important contact point for people with questions about occupational benefits.
The income statement reflects a loss for the 2022 financial year, due solely to the negative result in asset investments. The result from the Guarantee Fund's individual areas of activity is positive. The reserve fund decreased to CHF 659 million.
